Privacy Policy for GroceryDay

GroceryDay ("we," "our," or "the app") helps users discover weekly grocery deals from Korean supermarkets. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

GroceryDay does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information.

We collect only:

• A push notification token — an address for your device, issued by Expo, our notification delivery provider. It is used solely to deliver notifications about new deals and expiring sales at the stores you choose to follow, and about products you choose to watch.
• A randomly generated device identifier — created on your device the first time you use the app. We use it to keep your notification settings and watched products correct when you update or reinstall the app. It is not linked to your name or any other personal information.
• Which stores you have chosen to follow, and which products you have chosen to watch — so that we send you notifications only for those stores and products.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or browsing activity. Search terms you type in the app stay on your device and are never sent to us.

How We Use Information

We use the information above only to operate the app's core features:

• Sending you notifications about deals at stores you've chosen to follow, and about products you've chosen to watch
• Remembering which stores and products you have turned notifications on or off for

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — stores the app's data, including the identifiers described above. Supabase acts as our data processor and does not use your information for its own purposes.
• Expo — delivers our push notifications. When we send you a notification, your push token and the contents of that notification (for example, a store name and the names of a few deals ending that day) pass through Expo's push service.
• Apple Push Notification service (iOS) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) — depending on your device, Apple's or Google's system delivers the notification to your device.

We do not use any analytics or tracking services, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
