CardIQ is a sports card collection and market research app. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the iOS app.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials processed through our auth provider (email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In). We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
If you sign in, we store the card data you add: cards in your collection (including price paid, grade, serial number, and notes), wishlist targets, grading cost preferences, and related portfolio information. This is stored in our cloud database (Supabase) and linked to your account so it can sync across your devices.
We may store your card search queries and recently viewed catalog items to show recent/trending search and improve your experience. Onboarding completion status is stored on your device.
If you use scan or photo library features, images are used to identify cards and are processed through our catalog services. We request camera and photo library access only when you use those features.
Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status and link it to your CardIQ account. We do not receive your full payment card number.
Our backend services and third-party providers may process standard technical data (e.g. IP address, device type, app version) in server logs for security and operation.
