This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or browsing information. It has no backend server and makes no network requests.
The extension stores your settings (on/off state, brightness, contrast, sepia, grayscale, and per-site exceptions) using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data stays on your device and is never sent to the developer or any third party.
The extension applies a local CSS style to the pages you visit to render them in a dark theme. It does not read, log, or transmit the content of any page you visit. Access to all sites is required only so the dark theme can be applied wherever you browse.
Every permission is used solely to apply the dark theme and save your settings — never to track, monitor, or profile you.
The extension does not integrate with, transmit data to, or receive data from any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
