This Privacy Policy explains how Lotus L (individual developer; "we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Lotus Love app for iPhone and Apple Watch, including its widgets (the "App").

1. Our Approach

The App is designed to keep your content on your own devices or in your personal iCloud account. We do not run servers that store your content, and we never receive your records, health information, location, audio, or anything you write.

The only information that reaches us is anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (Section 3.8), which contain none of your content and which you can turn off at any time.

3. Information the App Processes

3.1 Information You Create

The App stores the following on your device:

• Your journal records, such as date, duration, mood and feelings, notes, and tags
• Plans you create, edit, or receive
• Partner names and details you choose to enter
• Cycle dates for you or, if you choose, a partner
• Progress such as milestones, achievements, and favorites
• App settings and preferences, including App Passcode if you turn it on

3.2 Apple Health

With your permission, the App can read and write certain Apple Health data, such as heart rate, workouts, activity, sleep, and cycle information. This data is used only to provide App features, such as session summaries, wellbeing overviews, and your cycle calendar.

Health information is processed on your devices. Information recorded during a session is saved with that record and stays with it when you use iCloud Sync, backups, or sharing (Sections 3.4–3.6). Health information is never sent to us, never used for analytics or advertising, and never shared with third parties.
