Fornya Notes

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Fornya Notes is a browser extension for writing notes, organizing pages and tracking tasks. This policy explains what data the extension handles and what it does with it.

The short version

Fornya Notes keeps everything on your device. It has no account system, no servers, no analytics and no advertising. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share your data.

What data the extension stores

The extension stores the content you create, such as pages, note text, to-do items, tasks, due dates, settings and your theme choice. If you use the clipping features, it also stores the title, web address and any text you selected from the page you clipped.

All of this is saved in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). It stays on your device and is never sent to the developer or to any third party.

How the extension uses permissions

The extension requests no host permissions. It does not run scripts on websites you visit and does not read your browsing history.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect personal information, browsing history, usage statistics, location, cookies, device identifiers or crash reports. The extension makes no network requests of its own. It also does not load or run remote code; all code ships inside the extension package.
