GolfCoachAI ("the App") is developed by Philip Persson. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.
Swing videos and photos. When you upload swing videos, the App extracts individual frames locally on your device and sends those frames — along with any optional profile details you provide (ball flight, common miss, physical limitations) — to our backend for AI analysis. This data is processed to generate your swing analysis and training plan and is not stored on our servers after processing.
Analysis history. Your past analyses and results are stored locally on your device only. We do not maintain a server-side database of your analysis history.
Purchase information. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs this data.
Swing video frames and profile information are sent to our backend, which forwards them to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate your swing analysis. This data is used solely to produce your analysis and is not used for any other purpose, sold, or shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to generate your result.
We do not retain your video frames or profile data on our servers after your analysis is generated. Your analysis history remains on your device and is deleted if you delete the App.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Since we do not store your personal data on our servers beyond the processing needed to generate your analysis, there is no persistent account data to request or delete. Deleting the App removes all locally stored history.
