Eda Özben Turan ("we," "our," "us") explains here how the Idiom Highway app ("App") handles information.

The short version: there is no account, no advertising, and no cross-app tracking. Everything you learn — your progress, your cards, your streak — is stored only on your device. We do collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics so we know which cities get played and which idioms are hardest, and you can turn those off in Settings.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials (there is no account); location; contacts; photos, camera or microphone data; health data; your device's advertising identifier (IDFA); or any data that identifies you personally. The App shows no advertising and contains no advertising SDK.

Your learning progress never leaves your device. Progress, collected cards, coins, streak and settings are stored in local files on the device only. There is no cloud account, no server-side profile, and no sync — if you delete the App, that data is gone.

2. How We Use Information

We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or behavioral targeting. There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt because we do not track you: nothing we collect is linked to your identity, and nothing is shared with other companies for their own advertising or measurement.

You can turn analytics off. Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage stats. Turning it off stops collection; the App keeps working exactly the same.

3. Data Sharing

Service Purpose Data processed
Apple App distribution, payment processing, subscription billing Purchase transactions (Apple is the merchant of record; we never see your payment details)
RevenueCat Purchase and entitlement management An anonymous app-user ID and purchase receipts. No name, email, or device advertising identifier.
Google (Firebase Analytics) Product analytics App-instance ID and anonymous event data (city played, gate accuracy, funnel events). Ad-personalization signals disabled; no IDFA; no ATT.

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share data with data brokers or advertising networks.

4. Data Storage & Security
