This Privacy Policy explains how Interview Copilot, provided by Valentyn Bratkevych (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information when you use the Interview Copilot macOS application.
Interview Copilot may process the following information depending on the features you choose to use.
When you enable listening, Interview Copilot may capture microphone audio and system meeting audio to generate live transcriptions and AI-assisted responses.
Microphone access is used to capture your side of the meeting. Screen Recording permission may be used to capture system audio from meeting apps such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or similar apps.
Audio may be transcribed, and transcript text may be used as context for AI-generated responses.
Interview Copilot may request Screen Recording permission for the following features:
When you use screenshot or OCR features, Interview Copilot may temporarily process visible screen content, including window content, shared presentation text, code, browser content, or other text visible on screen. This content is used to extract text and generate AI-assisted responses.
Interview Copilot does not continuously record your screen. Screenshot OCR is user-triggered.
Interview Copilot may send meeting context, transcript snippets, OCR text, prompts, and related request metadata to AI providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic to generate responses.
Interview Copilot uses Apple StoreKit to check subscription status and process purchases. We do not receive or store your full payment card information. Payment processing is handled by Apple.
