The short version

Keepsake does not collect any of your personal data. Your journals, photos and drawings stay on your iPhone, and we have no servers that receive them.

This policy explains how Keepsake ("the app"), made by NEXTEON LLC ("we", "us"), handles information. By using the app you agree to it.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in Keepsake is stored only inside the app on your iPhone. That includes your journals, pages, writing, titles, tags, moods, weather, photos, photo stickers, drawings and settings.

Optional features that use Apple services

A few features rely on Apple. Each is off until you choose it, and Apple's own Privacy Policy applies to them.

Feature What happens Can we see it?
iCloud sync Your journal is copied to your own private iCloud database so it stays in step across your devices. Your words (titles, writing, captions, tags and moods) are end-to-end encrypted with keys only your devices hold. Photos and drawings are encrypted by Apple in transit and on its servers. No
Face ID lock iOS checks your face, fingerprint or passcode and only tells the app whether it matched. No, the app never receives your biometric data
Daily reminder A notification is scheduled on your iPhone at the time you pick. No, nothing leaves your device
Keepsake Premium Purchases are made through your Apple Account. Apple handles payment and tells the app only which plan you own. No, we never see your name or payment details
Backups and PDF exports Created on your iPhone only when you tap, and saved or sent only where you choose. A backup can be protected with a password that only you know. No

If you choose to share crash reports or app analytics with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may share anonymous diagnostic information with us. You can turn this off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

What we don't do

We don't collect, store, sell, rent or share personal information, because the app never sends it to us.
