Kickoff ’26 (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an independent app made by a solo developer. This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: the app does not collect, share, or transmit any personal data, it stores your preferences only on your own device, and it has no accounts, servers, ads, or tracking.

The short version

Kickoff ’26 runs entirely on your device. We do not operate any servers and the app does not send your information anywhere. There is no sign-up, no login, and no analytics. We cannot see how you use the app.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect, request, or have access to any personal information, including:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or account details.
• Your location or precise GPS data.
• Contacts, photos, calendars, or any other device data.
• Advertising identifiers or any data used for tracking or advertising.
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioural data.

Information stored on your device

To make the app work, some of your choices are saved locally on your device only, such as:

• The team you select to follow.
• Your notification and reminder preferences (for example, which matches you have asked to be reminded about and how far in advance).
• App settings.

This information never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us or any third party, and is removed when you delete the app.

Notifications and reminders

If you choose to set match reminders, the app schedules local notifications directly on your device using Apple’s notification system. These reminders are created and stored on the device — no reminder data is sent to us, to Apple’s push servers, or to anyone else. You can turn notifications on or off at any time in the iOS Settings app.
