Privacy Policy for LeadPull - Web Data & Contact Extractor
Effective Date: October 19, 2026
- Overview
LeadPull - Web Data & Contact Extractor ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting user privacy. This Chrome extension operates locally in your browser and is designed to extract public text information (emails, phone numbers, and structured table data) from the active webpage at the user's explicit request.
- Data Collection and Usage
- Local Processing: All data extraction and CSV parsing occur strictly within the local client browser (DOM of the active tab).
- No External Data Transmission: LeadPull does NOT collect, store, track, sell, or transmit any user browsing history, personal data, or extracted page content to external servers or third parties.
- Chrome Local Storage: We use Chrome's local storage permission solely to track daily usage limits and local Pro license activation status.
- Third-Party Services
- Gumroad API: When a user opts to activate a Pro license, the license key is sent directly via HTTPS to Gumroad's official API (https://api.gumroad.com) to verify subscription status. No other personal data or browsing details are attached to this request.
- Permissions Justification
- storage: Used locally on the user's browser to keep track of daily free tier usage counts and Pro license state.
- activeTab & scripting: Required to access the current web page DOM to scan for public contact information when the user explicitly clicks the extraction button.
