Location Recorder ("the App") records your location and displays it on a map. This document explains what information the App handles and how.
The App reads your location (GPS) only while you have started a recording, and stores it in your device's internal storage. The App does not operate its own server, and does not transmit or collect this location data externally.
The only information the App actually transmits (collects) off the device is the following.
Firebase Crashlytics. This is anonymous statistical
information that does not identify a specific individual.Firebase Analytics. This is anonymous
statistical information that does not identify a specific individual.Firebase Performance Monitoring.
This is anonymous statistical information that does not identify a specific individual. The App does not collect personal information that could identify you, such as your name, email address, or phone number, and it has no sign-up or login feature.
The App uses the following third-party (Google) services. The information each service collects is governed by that service's own policy.
| Service | Purpose | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps SDK | Displaying the map screen | Google Privacy Policy |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Collecting app crash diagnostic information | Google Privacy Policy |
| Firebase Analytics | Collecting app usage statistics | Google Privacy Policy |
| Firebase Performance Monitoring | Collecting app performance measurement information | Google Privacy Policy |
The App does not use any advertising SDKs.
The App may request and use background location permission so that it can keep recording your route without interruption even when the screen is off or you're using
another app while recording.
