This privacy policy describes how the Marluna Mantra Clock app ("the app", "we") handles information when you use it.

1. No account required

The app does not require you to create an account or sign up with an email address. All features — alarms, mantras, categories, and subscription access — work without a login. Your subscription status is managed anonymously through your device and your Google Play account, not through a personal account with us.

2. Information you provide directly

When you first open the app, you may be asked to share:

• Your first name — used to personalize messages within the app (e.g., "Well done, [Name]").
• A gender preference — used only to select the grammatically correct wording of French-language mantras. If you select "Other" or "Prefer not to say," the app defaults to a standard phrasing.
• An age range — used to understand our overall user base, not tied to your identity.
• Answers to two onboarding questions (how you typically feel when waking up, and your main morning goal) — used to personalize your experience and, in aggregate, to help us understand how people use the app (see Section 3).
• Your daily intention or goal, written each morning in the app — this is saved locally on your device so you can review it later the same day. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

All of the above, except where noted, is stored locally on your device. You can edit or clear this information at any time in Settings.

3. Usage and diagnostic data (via Firebase, Google)

The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google, to:

• Understand general app usage (for example, which mantra categories are selected, app opens, alarm dismissals, and your answers to the two onboarding personalization questions described in Section 2)
• Detect and diagnose technical crashes in order to improve app stability

This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you. It may include technical device identifiers, phone model and operating system version information, and crash reports.

4. Payment and subscription data

The app offers an optional paid subscription (monthly or annual, with a free trial). Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
