PillHarbor is built around a simple principle: a medication routine is private. The core app works without an account, advertising profile, or PillHarbor cloud service.
Medication names, forms, strengths, instructions, schedules, reminder times, dose records, notes, skip reasons, stock counts, preferences, and local care profiles are stored in PillHarbor’s database on your device. PillHarbor uses this information to show your routine, schedule local notifications, calculate history and stock, and create exports you request.
PillHarbor does not send this medication content to a PillHarbor server. Removing the app removes its local database unless you created and kept a separate backup. Exported backup and CSV files are under your control and may contain sensitive information.
With permission, PillHarbor schedules notifications locally through iOS. Notification text can appear on the Lock Screen according to your iPhone settings. You can change notification permission and preview preferences in iOS Settings.
Optional subscriptions, lifetime access, and tips are processed by Apple. PillHarbor uses RevenueCat to retrieve products, verify purchase status, restore purchases, and keep Pro access in sync. Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase and transaction details, an anonymous app-user identifier, and limited device or app information needed to provide those services. PillHarbor does not send medication names, schedules, notes, or dose history to RevenueCat.

PillHarbor contains no advertising SDK and does not sell personal information. It does not use medication activity to track you across apps or websites or to build an advertising profile.
The core reminder and logging experience works locally. Network access may be used to load and verify App Store purchases or when you choose to open support, privacy, subscription-management, or legal pages. Those external services operate under their own privacy policies.
You can review and edit entries, delete medication records, export a backup or CSV, remove local data from within the app, disable notifications, and uninstall PillHarbor. Purchase history held by Apple or RevenueCat is controlled through those services and applicable law.
PillHarbor relies on iOS device protections and its local app container. No storage method can guarantee absolute security. Protect the iPhone with a passcode and handle exported files carefully.
