This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Pleegram application. By using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
We may collect the following types of data:
a) Account Information — When you register using your phone number, we may collect your phone number and basic profile information (such as name, username, and profile picture/avatar).
b) Usage Data — We automatically collect device type and OS, IP address, app usage behavior, and session duration.
c) Camera and Media — With your permission, we may access your camera and photos/media files to capture and upload content (stories, slides, and replies) in Pleegram. We do not access these features without your permission.
d) Contacts (Optional Feature) — If you allow access, we may use your contacts to suggest people you may know and improve social features. We do not store your contacts permanently on our servers unless necessary for this feature.
e) Push Notification Tokens — To deliver push notifications, we collect and store a device notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging token) associated with your account and device. This token allows us to send you relevant notifications and is removed or refreshed when you log out or reinstall the app.
f) Social Interaction Data — When you interact with other users (following, liking, replying to stories), we process this activity to generate notifications and provide social features.
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a service provided by Google, to send push notifications to your device (for example, when someone follows you, likes your story, replies to you, or when a user you follow posts a new story).
To provide this service, a device token is shared with Google's Firebase infrastructure. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app. Learn more about Google's privacy practices: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We use third-party advertising and mediation services, primarily Meta Audience Network. Through Meta Audience Network mediation platform, ads may also be served by other advertising networks.
These services may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising Identifier / IDFA on iOS), usage data, and ad interactions. This helps show relevant ads and measure ad performance.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS): On iOS devices, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before using your device's advertising identifier for personalized advertising. You can decline, and you may change this at any time in your device Settings. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant.
