This privacy policy applies to the iPhone app Rolls ("the app"). In short: Rolls has no user account, uses no analytics or advertising services and does not upload your photos anywhere. Your photos stay on your iPhone.

Data the app processes
Photos and camera
- The app needs camera access so you can take the photos of your roll. The camera is only used while the app is open and you are taking photos.
- Captured and developed photos are stored only locally on your device, in the app's storage. The app shares this storage with its own widgets so they can show the state of your roll and preview images. The photos are not sent to us or to any third party.
- The photos contain the metadata your iPhone writes when taking them, such as the capture date and camera details. This also stays on your device.
- If you choose "Save all", the app saves the developed photos to your photo library. For this it asks for permission to add photos. The app cannot read your library.
- If you share a photo using "Share", you decide which app or person receives it. That recipient is then responsible for any further processing.
Notifications
So we can tell you when your roll is developed, the app asks for permission to send notifications. These notifications are scheduled and shown on your device. Nothing is sent to a server for this.
Purchases (Rolls Pro)
Rolls Pro is a subscription purchased through Apple's App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We receive no payment data such as card details, name or address. Through Apple's StoreKit, the app only checks whether a valid subscription exists and stores the result locally on your device. Apple's processing is covered by Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
What the app does not do
- no user account and no sign-up
- no analytics, tracking or advertising services and no sharing with third parties
- no tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies
- no upload of your photos to servers
