# Slop Radar — Privacy Policy

_Last updated: 2026-09-05_

Slop Radar is designed to be private by construction.

## What we collect
**Nothing.** Slop Radar does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal
information or browsing data.

## How it works
- All detection runs **locally in your browser**. Page text, images, and video are analyzed
on-device using built-in heuristics and signal lists that ship inside the extension.
- The extension makes **no network requests**. Nothing about the pages you visit ever leaves
  your computer.
- Your settings (on/off, sensitivity, which content types to scan) are stored **locally** using
the browser's `storage` API and never leave your device.

## Permissions we request
- **storage** — to remember your settings between sessions.
- **activeTab** — so the popup can read the flag count from the tab you're currently viewing.
- **Host access (all sites)** — so the extension can highlight AI content on whatever page you
choose to visit. This access is used only to read and annotate the current page's content
locally; it is never used to transmit data.

## Third parties
There are no third-party services, analytics, trackers, or advertising SDKs in Slop Radar.

## Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new date.
