Introduction

Smart Weather Planner & Alerts ("the App", "we", "our") is developed by Redouane. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.

The short version: We don't collect, store, or sell your personal data. Everything stays on your device.

Information We Collect

Location Data

The App requests access to your device's location for two purposes:

• Weather forecasts: Your current coordinates are sent to Apple WeatherKit to retrieve local weather data. This is processed by Apple's servers — we never see or store your raw coordinates on any server.
• Home geofence (optional): If you set a home location for geofence-based alerts, the coordinates are stored locally on your device only using Apple's SwiftData framework. They are never transmitted to our servers.

You can choose between "When In Use" or "Always" location access:

• When In Use: Weather data is fetched only while the App is open.
• Always: Enables geofence departure alerts — the App is notified by iOS when you leave your home radius, triggering a local weather check.

You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Smart Weather Planner.

Notification Data

The App may request permission to send local notifications (morning/evening weather prep, geofence departure alerts). These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device by iOS. No notification content is sent to any external server.

Subscription Data

The App offers an optional Pro subscription managed by RevenueCat (a third-party subscription management service). RevenueCat processes your purchase through Apple's App Store and may receive:

• Your anonymous App User ID (generated by RevenueCat)
