Spill ("the app", "we", "our") is a mobile creative tool for designing Instagram carousel posts. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
Information We Access
Camera If you grant permission, the app uses your camera to capture photos you choose to add to your canvas. Camera access is only used when you explicitly tap the camera button. We do not access your camera in the background.
Photo Library The app reads your photo library only when you choose to add an image to your canvas. It writes to your photo library only when you choose to export and save your finished slides. We do not scan, index, or transmit your photos.
Clipboard The app reads your clipboard when you use the paste feature to add a copied image to your canvas. Clipboard contents are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted.
Local Storage Your projects, templates, custom colors, and app settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Background Removal and Face Data
The app includes an on-device background removal feature. This feature uses Apple's Vision framework to perform subject segmentation on images you explicitly select. It does not collect, extract, analyze, or store face data of any kind. No facial recognition is performed. The processing runs entirely on your device and the result is saved locally. No image or derived data is ever transmitted to us or any third party.
