At Clivia Curator, we believe your plant breeding data, genetic lineages, and personal information belong entirely to you. Our app is engineered with a privacy-first architecture. This Privacy Policy describes how Clivia Curator handles your information, what permissions we require, and how your data is secured. 1. Absolute Privacy: No Data Collection We do not run, maintain, or rent external databases. • No Accounts or Logins: You are not required to create an account, register, or provide an email address to use Clivia Curator. • No Developer Access: The developer of Clivia Curator has absolutely zero access to your plant inventory, breeding pedigree data, images, or location. We cannot view, copy, sell, or modify any information you enter into the app. 2. Where Your Data is Stored Any information you input into Clivia Curator—including plant names, varieties, crosses, bloom analytics, dates, and lineage trees—is stored using the following native methods: • Local Storage (On-Device): All data is stored directly on your physical device using iOS/iPadOS secure local storage frameworks (SwiftData). • Apple iCloud Syncing: If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your database is synced directly to your personal, private iCloud container via Apple's secure CloudKit infrastructure. This ensures your data is backed up safely in the event your device is lost or damaged. This data is fully encrypted by Apple; we have no pathway to access it. 3. Device Permissions and Usage To provide its core features, Clivia Curator requests access to specific native iOS device components. We only use these permissions to execute the actions you explicitly trigger: Photo Library Access • Why it's requested: To allow you to attach high-resolution progress photos, bloom records, and parent plant references to your digital inventory. • How it's handled: When you use the system Photo Picker, you choose which photos to make available to the app. These images are saved locally on your device and synced via your personal iCloud. They are never uploaded to any external server or transmitted to third parties. 4. Third-Party Services Because the app is distributed through the Apple App Store and utilizes iOS frameworks, your usage is subject to Apple's standard services: • Apple App Store & iCloud: Apple processes transactions, downloads, iCloud syncing, and opt-in diagnostic or crash reporting data in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. You can review Apple's privacy practices on the official Apple Privacy Website. • No Third-Party SDKs or Trackers: Clivia Curator does not integrate third-party analytics tracking tools, advertising networks, or data-broker SDKs. 5. Children's Privacy Because we do not collect any personal data, Clivia Curator does not knowingly collect, store, or process personal information from children under the age of 13, in compliance with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and global privacy standards. 6. Changes to This Policy We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect future offline utility upgrades or platform changes. Any updates will be published within the app update notes or on our official distribution page. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any updated terms. 7.
