CunningKit ("the extension") is a browser extension that allows users to save and organize links using a right-click context menu. This policy explains what data the extension collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.

Data We Collect

CunningKit collects and stores the following information, provided directly by the user through normal use of the extension:

• Saved links — URLs, page titles, and any custom names or section labels the user assigns to them
• Section names — custom categories the user creates to organize saved links
• Timestamps — the date and time each link was saved

CunningKit does not collect:

• Browsing history beyond the specific pages a user actively chooses to save
• Personal identifying information (name, email, location) unless the user voluntarily provides it elsewhere (e.g. account features, if added)
• Analytics, tracking, or advertising data

How Data Is Stored

• Saved data is stored locally on the user's device using the browser's chrome.storage.local API and, as a backup cache, the browser's localStorage.

How Data Is Used

Saved link data is used solely to provide the core functionality of the extension — letting users view, search, edit, and organize the links they've chosen to save. Data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose beyond the extension's stated functionality.

Data Retention and Deletion

Users can delete any saved link or section at any time directly within the extension. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data associated with it.
