"Display Curtain" ("the app") is designed with privacy in mind. This policy explains how the app handles information.
The App does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or contact details.
The App does not use advertising identifiers for tracking.
To provide its features, the app stores the following information locally on your Mac:
This data is managed on your device and is never sent to external servers.
The app does not have Screen Recording, Accessibility, Camera, or Microphone permissions. By design, it has no way to read the contents of your screen.
The only file access the app requests is read-only access to image files you explicitly choose to import.
Network communication is limited to purchase verification with the App Store (between your device and Apple only). Your screen contents, actions, and settings are never transmitted externally.
Payment processing and purchase verification are handled by Apple through the StoreKit framework, in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.
Because the app does not have Screen Recording or similar permissions, it cannot technically prevent the following from appearing in a shared screen:
