"Fav Camera" ("the app") is designed with privacy in mind. This policy explains how the app handles information.

1. Information Collected

The app does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The app does not use advertising identifiers for tracking and contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.

2. Data Processed Locally on Your Device

To provide its features, the app stores the following information locally on your iPhone:

• Photos and videos taken within the app (stored in the app's local folder — not the iOS Photos library)
• Tags and media management data (SwiftData)
• App settings such as resolution, frame rate, and backup preferences (UserDefaults)
• PIN lock code (Keychain)
• Purchase verification data (local verification via StoreKit 2)

This data is managed on your device and is never sent to external servers, except through the iCloud backup feature.

3. iCloud Backup

The app includes a backup feature using iCloud (CloudKit private database). When enabled, your photos and videos are stored in your own iCloud account.

Backup data is stored exclusively in your iCloud account. No third party, including the developer, can access it. You can turn backup on or off at any time in Settings.

4. Permissions

• Camera (required): Used for taking photos and recording videos.
• Microphone (optional): Used to record audio during video capture.
• Photo Library (optional): Used to import photos from the standard Photos app.
