German B1 Exam Coach is provided by Tingnova. This policy explains what the app processes, why it is processed, and how you can control it.
The app stores your onboarding choices, study plan, task answers, Writing drafts, Speaking transcripts, progress, mock-exam history, cached feedback, and Speaking recordings locally on your device. This information supports app functionality and persists across launches.
When you explicitly request Writing or Speaking feedback, the app sends the relevant answer text or speech transcript, task identifier, duration, recognition confidence, content version, and an idempotency identifier to the evaluation service. The service uses this data only to generate and return the requested feedback, operate the service, prevent abuse, and diagnose redacted failures.
Raw Speaking audio is not uploaded for evaluation. Do not include sensitive personal information in practice answers.
Cloud evaluation is routed through Cloudflare, Inc. and processed by Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd. DeepSeek states that personal data may be processed and stored in the People's Republic of China and retained for as long as necessary to provide and protect its services, meet legal obligations, and pursue legitimate business interests. Its published policy may permit service improvement or model training uses. Do not submit names, contact details, account numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information in a practice answer. You can use the rest of the app without requesting cloud evaluation.
Apple processes subscriptions and payment information. Tingnova does not receive your complete payment-card details. Signed entitlement information may be verified to unlock Pro functionality and prevent fraud.
The app may process privacy-safe product events and redacted error categories. These events must not contain answer text, transcripts, raw audio, names, email addresses, or complete StoreKit transaction payloads. The app does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking.
Use Settings → Delete all learning data to remove local personalization, attempts, drafts, recordings, transcripts, mock history, and cached feedback. This does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple.
The evaluation Worker does not intentionally persist answer text, transcripts, or model responses after returning the result; operational systems may process short-lived network and security logs. DeepSeek controls its own provider-side retention. To request assistance with access or deletion rights, email [email protected]. We will handle requests we control and, where necessary, coordinate with the relevant provider, subject to identity verification and applicable law.
The app is designed for adult exam candidates and is not directed to children. Users should not submit personal information about children in practice answers.
Data in transit uses HTTPS. Cloudflare provides the evaluation gateway and DeepSeek provides the language-model evaluation. Apple processes App Store purchases. Each provider processes data under its own contractual terms and privacy practices.
