2. Key Privacy Principles

• Zero Audio Retention: Your voice audio is processed ephemerally in real time solely to perform live speech translation. We do not store, retain, sell, or use your audio recordings to train AI models.
• Local-First Data Storage: Saved transcriptions and translation histories remain exclusively on your device. We do not operate cloud databases holding your personal conversations.
• No Third-Party Advertising or Tracking: We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, data brokers, or cross-app tracking identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA).
• Pass & Purchase Privacy: Purchases are managed securely through Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat using anonymous identifiers. We never access your payment details or credit card information.

3. Data We Collect and Process

A. Voice & Audio Data (Ephemeral Processing)

• What is collected: Live microphone input captured while you activate the translation feature.
• Purpose: To transcribe speech, detect languages, and generate translated audio in real time.
• Retention: Ephemeral. Audio packets are streamed securely over encrypted TLS connections (WebSockets / HTTPS) to AI translation processing endpoints and immediately discarded once the translated text and audio response are generated.
