Overview

MeetingArmor is designed with privacy as its core principle.

The extension operates entirely on your device and does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. MeetingArmor has no backend servers, user accounts, analytics systems, tracking technologies, or advertising components.

All functionality is performed locally within your browser.

What MeetingArmor Does

MeetingArmor helps protect your privacy during screen sharing sessions by automatically obscuring tabs that are not explicitly approved by you.

When enabled, MeetingArmor can:

• Blur the contents of tabs that are not on your allow-list
• Mask tab titles and favicons for protected tabs
• Restore tabs to their original state when protection is disabled

These actions occur entirely within your browser and do not involve transmitting any information outside your device.

Information We Store

MeetingArmor stores a small amount of configuration data locally using Chrome's storage.local API:

• Your allow-list of approved domains
• Whether protection is currently enabled
• A flag indicating whether the welcome page has been shown
