This policy explains what information Nerava processes, why, who receives it, how long it is kept, and your choices and rights.
1. Summary
- Your aquarium profiles, water measurements, care history, notes, and drafts are stored locally on your device. Nerava does not currently synchronize this content through its own servers or iCloud.
- You do not need a separate Nerava account to keep aquarium records.
- We use Mixpanel for optional product analytics. Analytics does not include the names, notes, or individual water readings you enter for your aquariums.
- Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat helps validate purchases, restore them, and determine access to Nerava Pro.
- We do not sell personal data, display third-party advertising, or share personal data for cross-company behavioral advertising.
2. Aquarium information and local storage
Depending on how you use the app, Nerava stores:
- aquarium names, aquarium types, water volumes, and preferred units;
- water measurements, including the parameter, value, unit, measurement time, associated aquarium, and entry source;
- water-check sessions, including the number of parameters and the time taken to enter a check;
- care events, including the event type, date, quantities, units, details, and notes you enter;
- local record identifiers and creation or modification dates;
- onboarding choices, preferred parameters, the selected aquarium, and app preferences;
- unfinished measurement and care-event drafts so you can resume your work.
This information is stored in the app's local container. Nerava uses it on your device to display your records, organize your history, and calculate charts and summaries. We do not receive your complete aquarium history on a Nerava-operated server. We cannot remotely read or recover local-only records.
