1. Microphone and Audio Processing

Noise Meter requires access to your device’s microphone to estimate the sound level around you and provide features such as:

• Live sound-level estimates
• Minimum, average, and peak sound levels
• Sound-level charts
• Frequency spectrum analysis
• Timed noise tests

Microphone audio is analyzed temporarily on your device.

We do not intentionally:

• Record or save raw microphone audio
• Upload raw microphone audio to our servers
• Share raw microphone audio with advertising or analytics providers
• Use microphone audio for speech recognition, profiling, or advertising

Only calculated measurement results may be saved. Noise Meter is intended for general informational purposes and is not a certified professional sound-level meter.
