Prompt Refiner does not collect, track, or store any personal data, prompt history, or usage analytics. We do not have database servers, and we do not compile user profiles.

2. API Key Security & Storage

If you configure an API key (for OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, etc.) or a custom URL:

• These settings are stored locally in your browser's sandboxed storage (chrome.storage.local).
• Credentials are sent directly from your browser to the official endpoints of the respective AI providers.
• Your keys are never sent to us or any third party.

3. Third-Party Services

When you query an AI model, your text idea and settings are sent to the LLM provider you selected (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic). These requests are governed by the privacy policy of the respective AI provider.
