Puff (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a personal wellness tracker for gas, bloating and digestive comfort. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information. Your privacy is the foundation of how Puff is built.

The short version

Puff works fully offline and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you log stays on your device, stored in an encrypted database. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no advertising.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal data.

Puff does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information.

All information you enter into the app — including episode timings, estimated volumes, intensity levels, and any tags or notes you add — is:

How your data is used

Your data is used solely to provide the app’s features on your own device: showing your daily balloon, history, statistics, insights, and the doctor-friendly report. This processing happens entirely on your device.

Data sharing and disclosure

We do not have access to your data, so we cannot and do not share it.

If you choose to use the share or export feature (for example, to send a report to your doctor), you are in full control: the data leaves the app only through the sharing option you personally select (such as email or a messaging app), to the recipient you choose. This action is always initiated by you.

Third-party services

Puff does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs.

The app is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google may collect certain information related to app installation and usage in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. This collection is performed by Google, not by Puff, and is outside our control.
