1. 100% Local Storage & Zero Data Collection
- No External Servers: Qlip does NOT operate any external servers or remote databases.
- Local Device Storage: All snippets, custom templates, and tags are stored strictly in the local database (Room DB) on your device.
- No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, monitor, log, sell, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII), typed text, or clipboard content.
- No Ads: The App contains no commercial advertisements or tracking SDKs.
2. Third-Party Services
- The App only integrates Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous, aggregated technical crash diagnostics to ensure app stability and fix bugs. No personal text or clipboard contents are ever transmitted.

3. Permissions Used
- Foreground Service (
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE): Used exclusively to maintain an ongoing quick-access snippet bar in your notification shade for instant one-tap copying.
- Post Notifications: Used solely to display the clipboard notification bar.
- Internet: Used only for transmitting anonymous crash reports to Firebase.
4. Children's Privacy
The App does not address anyone under the age of 13 and collects no personal data from children.
