The short version

Rewirement is a retirement planning calculator. Everything you enter — your name, your date of birth, your finances — is stored on your device and is used on your device to do the sums. We do not run a server that holds your financial information, we do not have accounts or logins, we do not use advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Introduction

Rewirement ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Rewirement app ("the App") handles, where it goes, and what control you have over it. The App is available to users in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Information the App stores on your device

The App stores the following locally, using iOS UserDefaults, in the App's own storage:

• Your name (optional)
• Your date of birth
• Financial details you enter: pension pot and contributions, savings and savings pots, cash, target annual income, mortgage payment and term, property value and equity
• Planning preferences: target retirement age, pension access age, safe withdrawal rate, inflation settings, State Pension / Social Security settings, currency and region
• Whether you have unlocked Rewirement Pro
• Your Pro community verification code, if you have Pro

This information stays on your device. It is not uploaded to us, and we cannot see it.

What leaves your device

Only the following, and nothing else:

In-app purchases. If you buy Rewirement Pro, Apple processes the transaction. We never see or store your payment details. Apple tells the App only whether the purchase is valid, and provides a transaction identifier so the App can confirm your unlock.

Feedback you choose to send. If you use the feedback option, the App opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. Nothing is sent unless you press send, and it is sent from your email account, not by the App. Whatever you write — which may include your name and email address — reaches us at [email protected].

A Pro community verification code — only if you choose to use it. If you have Rewirement Pro, the App generates a random code (for example RWP-K4MTPQ7-XCA) and shows it to you. The App does not send it anywhere. If you want to verify your Pro status in our community Discord, you copy the code and post it there yourself. The code is random and is not linked to your name, your device, or any of your financial information.

Links out of the App. The App contains links to Discord and to the App Store. Following one opens that service, which has its own privacy policy. We do not send them any information about you.
