Summary

Rise-Up is a buy-once alarm app. We built it to work without accounts and without collecting your personal data. Your alarms, missions, streaks, and wake-up history stay on your device. This policy explains what that means and the few cases where data leaves your phone.

Data we collect

On your device only. Your alarms, mission settings, streak history, and wake-up records are stored locally on your device. We do not have a server that receives or stores this data, and we cannot see it.

Purchase data. You buy  Rise Up through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and shares purchase and refund information with us. We never see your card number or full Apple Account details. Apple's handling of this is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy [ https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/]

Camera and photos (mission-dependent). Some missions ask you to take a photo (for example, a photo of the sky). Photos you take for a mission are used on-device to complete the mission and are not uploaded to us. [Confirm: are mission photos saved to the device / the user's photo library, or discarded after the check?]

Diagnostics:

• We do collect crash logs or usage analytics or crashes with PostHog without any user info
• If you allow it in iOS Settings, Apple shares anonymous crash and usage diagnostics with us so we can fix bugs. This data is not linked to your identity. See Apple's Analytics & Privacy.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or advertising identifiers. We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. [Confirm this matches every SDK in your build. If you add analytics, ads, or crash reporting later, update this section.]

How we use data

We use purchase data to deliver the app you paid for and to handle refunds and support. We use any diagnostics you choose to share to find and fix bugs. That is all.

Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties, except the platform providers needed to run the app: Apple (payments, app delivery, optional diagnostics). We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you control it. Deleting the app removes your alarms, streaks, and history from the device. Purchase records are held by Apple under Apple's own policies.
