Routine Buddy is designed as a local-first productivity tool. It accesses the following permissions:

• Web Navigation (Optional):

  Used strictly locally in memory to check whether the user has visited their configured routine websites (for example, daily timesheet portals).

• Storage:

  Used to store your customized routines, schedule parameters, and task completion states locally in your browser.

• Alarms & Notifications:

  Used to run tasks at scheduled intervals and display alerts when routines are incomplete.

2. No Data Transmission (100% Offline)

All processing is performed entirely on your local device:

• Visited URLs are checked strictly in memory and are never logged, stored, or saved.
• No user browsing history, configuration data, or routine settings are ever sent to remote servers or third-party databases.
• The extension does not contain any network communication code (such as fetch or XMLHttpRequest) and runs entirely offline.

3. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not collect, sell, trade, rent, or transfer any personal data or browsing history to third parties under any circumstances.
