ILm Circle ("we", "us", or "our") built the Safh Quran app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by ILm Circle at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

Safh Quran is built with a strong commitment to your privacy. We strictly follow an "Offline-First" approach.

We do not require you to create an account, nor do we ask you to provide any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the core features of the app.

A. Local Data Storage

All of your personal app data is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, sync, or back up this data to any external servers owned by us. This local data includes:

• Reading History & Streaks: Your daily reading streaks and habits.
• Bookmarks & Highlights: Any ayahs you have saved or bookmarked.
• Hifz (Memorization) Progress: Your memorization tracking data.
• App Settings: Your theme preferences, font sizes, and notification schedules.
• Downloaded Audio: Audio files are cached locally in your device's storage for offline playback.

If you uninstall the app or clear your device's data, this local information will be permanently deleted unless you manually back it up yourself using Android's built-in backup tools.

B. Device Permissions

To provide specific features, Safh Quran requires the following device permissions. We only use these permissions to make the app function on your device; we do not harvest or send this data to our servers.

• Storage (Read/Write): Required to download and save Quran recitation audio files for offline listening.
• Notifications: Required to send you local reminders (e.g., Daily Reading Streaks, Hifz Review Reminders, Prayer Alerts). These notifications are scheduled locally on your device and are not triggered by a remote push server.
