1. Information Collection and Use
A. Location Data
Salah requires access to your device’s GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) to calculate precise prayer times mathematically on your device.
- How it is handled: Your location data is processed locally and in real-time. It is never transmitted to an external server, API, or third party. You can also choose to enter your city manually without granting location permissions.
B. Prayer History and Streak Data
The App tracks your daily 5 prayers, streaks, and kaza records to provide you with habits, statistics, and historical tracking.
- How it is handled: All of your prayer tracking data is stored strictly on your device’s local storage (using Apple's secure SwiftData framework) or within your personal iCloud account if you choose to enable iCloud sync. We have zero access to this data.
C. Personal Information
Salah does not require you to create an account, register, or provide your name, email address, or phone number to use the core features of the App.
2. Third-Party Services & Analytics
- No Third-Party Analytics: We do not use third-party tracking tools, analytics SDKs (like Firebase or Mixpanel), or advertising networks. Your in-app behavior is completely private.
- In-App Purchases: All premium subscriptions and transactions are processed securely through Apple’s App Store systems (StoreKit). Engin Can Ergün does not collect or store your credit card details or financial information.
3. Data Security
We rely on iOS's native sandboxing and security protocols to protect the data stored on your device. Since no data is transmitted to an external server hosted by us, there is no risk of a remote server-side data breach.
4. Children's Privacy
Our App is safe for everyone and does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted directly on this page and will take effect immediately upon posting.
