ScrollFlow is designed with a strict single purpose: to automate web page scrolling and record the visual output into a video (WebM/MP4), GIF, or PNG screenshot.
Zero-Data Collection Policy:
ScrollFlow operates on a strict “Local-First” architecture. All screen recording, audio mixing, and heavy media processing (transcoding to MP4/GIF) are performed 100% locally on your device using WebAssembly (WASM).
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your recorded videos, screenshots, or browsing history to external servers.
We do not use any remote code execution. All scripts and WASM binaries are bundled locally within the extension package.
To deliver its core features seamlessly, ScrollFlow requests the following specific permissions, used exclusively for local operations:
://*/*): Used to inject the auto-scroll logic, apply the "Clean View" styling, and overlay the simulated cursor directly inside the webpage DOM. Full host permission is strictly required to ensure the recording and script injection survive page reloads and refreshes (such as during the "Record page loading" feature). The extension does not track you. The only external network request made by ScrollFlow is to communicate with the secure Gumroad API.
Data transmitted: Only your license key and a validation token.
Purpose: Solely to verify if you have purchased the “ScrollFlow Premium” lifetime license. No other data is sent to Gumroad.
