Taza ("we," "our," or "the app") helps you check whether food products are halal by analyzing product photos. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process, how, and why. We've kept it short and honest because Taza is built to collect as little about you as possible.

Summary

1. Information We Process

Product photos and scan text. When you scan a product, the photo (and any text from it) is sent to our AI processing provider to identify the product and assess its halal status. These images are used only to generate your result in real time and are not retained or associated with your identity.

Anonymized product results. To make scanning faster for everyone, anonymized product analysis results (e.g., a product and its halal assessment) may be cached on our servers. This cache contains product information only — it does not contain your photos, your device identity, or anything that identifies you.

Purchase data. If you subscribe, our payment infrastructure provider (RevenueCat) processes purchase information and a device identifier to activate your subscription, restore purchases, and prevent fraud. This is used solely to operate the subscription and is not linked to a personal identity.

Diagnostics. Limited crash and performance data may be processed to keep the app stable.
