1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Tutur iOS application ("the App"), provided by Sendi Setiawan ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about how your data is handled.

2. Data Collection and Accounts

Tutur does not require an account or ask you to provide your name, email address, or phone number. Your speech and the resulting transcripts may nevertheless contain personal information that you choose to include. We do not use tracking cookies, device identifiers, or analytics software to monitor your behavior.

3. Speech and Text Processing (App Functionality)

To provide communication feedback and analyze your practice scenarios, Tutur processes your voice recordings and generated text transcripts solely to enable core App Functionality.

• How it works: Tutur uses text transcribed from your speech to generate communication coaching feedback. When available, Apple’s on-device Foundation Models process this text locally on your device. When Apple’s on-device AI is unavailable, Tutur offers to use Google Gemini. Before sending information, Tutur explains the sharing and requests your permission. If you agree, Tutur sends your transcript, current practice scenario, communication goal, audience, and evaluation instructions to Google Gemini to generate relevant feedback. If you decline, this information is not sent to Gemini.
• Not Linked to Identity: This audio and text data is processed anonymously and is never linked to your personal identity.
• No Long-Term Storage or Tracking: We do not store your audio recordings or transcripts on our servers, nor do we use this data for tracking or advertising purposes. Once the feedback is generated and returned to your device, the data is not retained by us.

4. On-Device Storage

Your practice history, feedback results, and settings are saved locally on your personal device using Apple's native storage frameworks. You maintain full control over this data and can delete it at any time by removing the App from your device.

5. Changes to This Policy

If we update our features in the future to require different data practices, we will update this Privacy Policy and explicitly request your consent within the App before any new data is collected.
