This Privacy Policy explains how Wild Almanac ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information. We built Wild Almanac to be a simple, offline field guide and companion app, and we designed it so that your privacy is protected by default.

The Short Version

Wild Almanac does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not track you, and we do not use analytics or advertising services. We never receive any information about you or your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any of the following:

• Personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address.
• Account or login information (the App has no accounts and no sign-in).
• Location data.
• Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics.
• Contacts, photos, files, or any other content stored on your device.

The App does not include third-party advertising, third-party analytics, tracking technologies, or social media logins.

Data Stored on Your Device

Some features of Wild Almanac — such as your trophy cards, quiz streaks, best scores, reading progress, and timer presets — are saved locally on your device so the App can remember your progress. This information stays on your device at all times. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we have no access to it. If you delete the App, this locally stored information is removed with it.

Children's Privacy

Wild Almanac is suitable for general audiences, including younger users. Because the App does not collect any personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly gather data from users of any age, and the App is compliant with children's privacy requirements on this basis.

Third-Party Services

Wild Almanac does not integrate any third-party services that collect data. The App functions without an internet connection and does not send information to external servers operated by us or by third parties.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this document and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App or on the App's store listing. Continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
