Workspace Tiles is a Chrome extension that replaces the new tab page with a locally stored workspace launcher.
Workspace Tiles may handle website names, URLs, page titles, bookmarks selected by the user, and tabs selected from the current browser window.
The extension does not collect names, email addresses, passwords, financial information, health information, personal communications, or precise location information.
This information is used only to create, display, and open the workspaces and website shortcuts requested by the user.
Workspace data is stored locally on the user's device using chrome.storage.local. Workspace Tiles does not transmit this data to servers operated by the developer.
The bookmarks permission is requested only when the user chooses to import bookmarks.
The tabs permission is requested only when the user chooses to import tabs from the current browser window.
To display website icons, Workspace Tiles may request favicon images from Google's favicon service. The domain name associated with a saved website is included in this request. Google's handling of these requests is governed by Google's privacy policy.
The developer does not sell user data, use user data for advertising, or use user data for creditworthiness or lending purposes.
Users can delete individual websites or workspaces within the extension. All locally stored extension data can also be removed by uninstalling Workspace Tiles.
The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
