Ziply is an Android app provided by Pasta. This Privacy Policy explains how Ziply handles information when you use the app to preview, extract, open, share, and manage archive files.
This policy applies to the Android app with package name com.pasta.ziply.
Ziply is designed to extract archive files locally on your device. Ziply does not upload your archive files or extracted file contents to a Ziply server.
Ziply stores recent extraction history and language preference on your device.
Ziply uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand basic app usage and diagnose crashes.
Ziply displays in-app ads and uses Google AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, Google User Messaging Platform SDK, and related Google advertising and measurement services to load, show, personalize where permitted, limit, and measure ads.
When you choose an archive file, Android grants Ziply access to the selected file so the app can read and extract it. This may include file names, folder names, archive metadata, and file contents inside the archive.
Ziply supports archive formats such as ZIP, password-protected ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, and GZ. If an archive requires a password, the password you enter is used only to attempt extraction on your device. Ziply does not intentionally store archive passwords and does not upload them to a Ziply server.
