Summary
Session Keeper stores your browser session data locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or share any of your data with anyone. This policy explains the details.
What data we access
The extension reads the following information from Chrome via the standard Chrome Extension APIs:
- Open windows and tabs: URLs, titles, positions, and dimensions of currently open browser windows
- User preferences: auto-save interval, max session count, and feature toggles you configure
How we use this data
The accessed data is used exclusively to provide the extension's core functionality:
- Saving sessions: snapshots of your current windows and tabs are stored locally so you can restore them later
- Restoring sessions: stored data is used to recreate windows and reopen tabs at your request
- Auto-save: at user-defined intervals, the extension takes a session snapshot in the background
Where your data is stored
All data is stored using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This means:
- Data lives only on your local device
- Data is not synced to any cloud or external service
- Data is automatically removed when you uninstall the extension
What we do NOT do
- We do not transmit any data to external servers
