Image Finder for Canva is a Chrome extension that helps users search image sources and use image links while working in Canva.

Data the extension handles

The extension may handle the following data only to provide its image search features:

• Search keywords typed by the user.
• Recent searches saved locally in the user's browser.
• Favorite image metadata saved locally in the user's browser, such as image URLs, thumbnails, source names, and photographer names.
• Image URLs copied to the clipboard when the user chooses to copy or use an image in Canva.

How data is used

Search keywords are sent to Unsplash, Pexels, or Pinterest only when the user performs a search or opens Pinterest inspiration results. Saved favorites and recent searches are used only to make the extension easier to use.

Local storage

Recent searches and saved favorites are stored locally with Chrome storage on the user's device. The extension does not operate a remote server and does not sync this data to the developer.

Third-party services

The extension connects to these services when the user uses related features:

• Unsplash API, to search Unsplash images.
• Pexels API, to search Pexels images.
• Pinterest, to open inspiration search results in a new tab.
• Canva, where the extension displays its sidebar and helps copy or use selected image URLs.
