This Privacy Policy explains how ClinicFact ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the ClinicFact mobile application and related services (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) / UK GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as described below.
a) Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you use single sign-on (SSO), basic profile information provided by that identity provider (e.g., name, email). If you register with email/password, we (or our authentication provider) store a securely hashed password.
b) Subscription and Payment Information
If you subscribe through the Apple App Store, your payment is processed entirely by Apple; we do not receive or store your card details. We receive limited transaction data (e.g., subscription status, purchase date) from Apple to manage your access.
If you subscribe via Stripe, payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We receive limited billing information (e.g., subscription status, billing history) from Stripe.
c) User Content
Documents, notes, and recordings you voluntarily upload to the App, and the questions you ask.
d) Usage Data
Information about how you interact with the App, such as features used, questions asked, quiz/flashcard activity, session duration, and general device information (device type, operating system, App version).
e) Log and Technical Data
IP address, device identifiers, crash logs, and diagnostic data, collected automatically for security and performance purposes.
