Summary

This extension does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or sensitive user data. There is no server, no account and no analytics. Nothing leaves your browser except the request that runs a Scenario Automation on your own Freshdesk instance.

What is stored

The extension stores three things using Chrome’s storage API:

This is held in your own browser and synchronised by Chrome across your signed-in Chrome profiles, in the same way as your bookmarks. It is never sent to the developer or to any third party.

Where the extension runs

The extension runs only on pages under freshdesk.com, and only on the agent interface. It reads the ticket ID from the address bar and inserts its buttons into the ticket action bar.

How it observes Freshdesk’s own requests

To work without asking you to hunt for configuration values, part of the extension runs inside the Freshdesk page and watches the requests the Freshdesk application itself makes. It does this for two reasons:

Only the security token, the scenario ID and the scenario name are used. Everything else passing through is ignored, and none of it is stored, copied or sent anywhere. The extension does not read, retain or transmit ticket content, customer records, email addresses or any other helpdesk data.

What is sent, and where

When you press Mark as read, the extension asks your own Freshdesk instance to run the Scenario Automation you configured, using the session you are already signed in to. That request goes to your Freshdesk account and nowhere else.

Third parties

None. The extension makes no requests to any server other than your own Freshdesk instance. No analytics, error reporting or advertising services are used.
