It’s not just about deregulation or small government, it’s a coordinated strategy to institutionalise far-right ideology, including a major anti-LGBTQ, anti-sexual rights, and anti-pornography agenda. Trump has not formally endorsed every detail, but many of his allies are leading or participating in Project 2025, making it functionally a blueprint for a second Trump term.

Project 2025’s “Mandate for Leadership” promotes a return to what it calls “biblical values” in governance. This includes:

• Eliminating “sexual rights” as a federal priority
• Erasing protections for LGBTQ+ people in federal policy
• Positioning heterosexual marriage and abstinence as federal standards
• Defunding Title X and other programs that support contraception, sex education, and abortion access
• Reinforcing abstinence-only education across the country

It frames comprehensive sex ed and gender-affirming care as forms of “sexual grooming” and child abuse.

This reflects the worldview of Christian nationalist groups that view feminism, LGBTQ+ rights, and sexual autonomy as threats to traditional social order.

Groups like the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) are central to this agenda, and they have deep ties to Project 2025.
