Protekto is designed to help users protect their focus, sleep routines, battery habits, and app usage boundaries.

Data Stored on Device

Protekto stores app settings locally on your device, including selected app tokens, mode settings, lock state, activity history, PIN settings, battery protection preferences, to-do items, workout progress, onboarding status, and battery education state.

This information is used only to provide Protekto's app shielding, reminders, insights, and mode functionality.

Screen Time Access

Protekto uses Apple's Screen Time APIs, including FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity, so users can voluntarily choose apps to shield.

Protekto does not inspect the private content of other apps. Selected app tokens are stored locally and are not sent to a server.

HealthKit Step Count

If you use Work Out Mode, Protekto may request access to your step count from Apple Health.

Step count is used only to measure progress toward your workout step goal and determine when selected apps may be unlocked. Health data is processed on device and is not sold, shared, used for advertising, or transmitted to a server.

Notifications

Protekto uses local notifications to remind users about battery, charging, sleep, focus, reading, workout, to-do, and app protection events.

Purchases

Your App Store purchase includes every Protekto feature—no subscriptions or additional in-app purchases. This price may change without notice.

Payment and purchase processing are handled by Apple. Protekto does not receive or store your payment card information.

No Tracking, Ads, or Account Requirement

Protekto does not require an account, does not include advertising, does not include third-party analytics, and does not track users.

Data Sharing

Protekto does not sell personal data and does not transmit selected apps, HealthKit step count, activity history, mode settings, or PIN settings to external servers.
