The Xenomorph Prowler.

The Xenomorph Prowler is a combative and defensive evolution of the runner, albeit unlike its portrayal in other media of it being stealthy and rare it ends up being a more common form that occurs within hives that reach the warrior stage.

Prowlers, unlike Runners wont actively be used for kidnapping new hosts and instead usually are present within raids or defenders.

Prowlers result from a Runner evolving into one.
