Pruve Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Pruve (the “App”) is developed and operated by Sarmad Sheraz (“Pruve,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information Pruve processes, how and why it is used, when it is shared, how long it is kept, and the choices and rights available to you.

Pruve does not require an account. Most personal content stays on your device. Limited product-analytics, subscription, technical, diagnostic, and advertising-attribution information is transmitted to the service providers identified below. When Cloud backup is enabled, the backup described below is stored in your private Apple iCloud/CloudKit database.

1. Information We Process

A. Information stored on your device

Depending on how you use Pruve, the App may store:

Your display name and profile photo are stored locally and, when Cloud backup is enabled, included in the private iCloud backup described below. Pruve does not send your display name, profile photo, custom proof or identity titles, custom descriptions, local record identifiers, or the identities of your Screen Time selections to Mixpanel, Superwall, or Meta.

B. iCloud backup

Cloud backup is available while you have access to Pruve, including through an active subscription, an eligible trial or offer, a restored subscription entitlement, or temporary access that Pruve may provide when subscription or paywall services are unavailable. When you enable Cloud backup and iCloud is available, Pruve stores a backup in your private Apple iCloud/CloudKit database. The backup may include your display name and optional profile photo; proofs and their titles or descriptions; identity profiles; schedules; completion, session, streak, progression, and recently deleted records; onboarding answers; app preferences; report and challenge state; and opaque Screen Time selection data. Pruve may also check your private iCloud database during setup to determine whether a compatible Pruve backup exists and may offer restoration before the subscription paywall is presented.

Ending or canceling a subscription does not automatically disable or delete an existing backup. If Cloud backup remains enabled, Pruve may continue pending or automatic backup operations whenever the App is able to perform them and iCloud is available. While you can access Pruve Settings, you can turn Cloud backup off or delete the stored backup in Pruve Settings → Cloud backup. If subscription access is inactive and Settings is unavailable, use Apple’s available iCloud storage controls or contact [email protected] with the subject ‘Pruve Privacy Request’ for assistance. Pruve does not operate a separate backup server, your private CloudKit records aren’t visible to the developer through Apple’s developer portal, and Pruve does not use backup contents for analytics or advertising. Apple processes iCloud data under its own terms and privacy policy.

C. Product analytics

Pruve uses Mixpanel for first-party product analytics. Mixpanel receives a persistent, randomly generated anonymous identifier and event information such as:
